I have been teaching Thai Bodywork since 2002, and while I used to teach in group settings, over the years the urge to teach the "old fashioned way" of "teacher to student" began to make more sense. Everyone learns new skills at their own pace, and it feels right to honor that- go with the flow.... Set your own course of study!
What do you need or want to focus on to be the most confident, comfortable and compassionate Thai Medicine bodyworker? Please note: this is not a massage licensing program but continuing education credits are provided.
Bottom line- pay as you go and carve your own path with an individualized course of study- one on one with Lise- pricing below and details follow:
50 hours= $2500
16 hours= $1728
8 hours = $864
4 hours = $432
Hourly = $123
To be clear, this is individualized study. Learn as you go. We will develop your agenda based on your current level of understanding/experience.
Now taking registrations for 2026-2027. This individualized course of study that begins at the beginning. We establish your individual learning experience at a pace suitable to both student and teacher. You study with Lise until the time you have shown competence with a 2 hour treatment. The average student spends 6 months in regular study- one on one time with Lise, weekly or twice/month. Some take longer. Not all meetings need be in person, though the hands on bits are best transmitted this way.
You will become confident and skillful in the art of Thai Bodywork and have the opportunity to practice on and with others who have completed or are currently in this program. At the conclusion of this basic training you will be well versed in Thai Bodywork and eligible to continue taking on a more specialized course of study.

First 6 months or 50 hours (whichever comes first) of individualized study: $2500
Ongoing training: $123/hour
Prerequisite: LMT status if you live in Washington State. Recommended to receive a 2 hour Thai Massage from Lise prior to start- but not required.
Requirements: show up early, never late, no late cancellations. Bring questions and notebook to each meeting.
"Learning Thai Massage with Lise was a transformative experience. Was I intimidated to work one on one with my teacher? Yes. Was that part of the learning? Yes. Thai Massage requires presence. Presence first with yourself and then with your partner (some say “giver and receiver” which is an oversimplification, but ok). So I showed up even though I had nerves.
